ArtMania takes innovative and unique approaches to independent film financing, operating with a slate-based strategy centered on Canadian-led projects positioned for international audiences.

ARteen khalatbari

Founder & Producer

Arteen Khalatbari is an Iranian-Canadian film producer and the founder of ArtMania Films, a Toronto-based production company focused on the development, financing, and production of narrative, theatrical feature films alongside short-form projects. His work emphasizes on blending artistically driven storytelling with creative approaches to independent film finance and commercial viability.

He recently completed production on his debut feature "Danielle" (2026) and is actively developing a slate of feature films under the ArtMania banner. In addition to feature work, he produced the music video "Super Sonic Girl" (2025, VEVO).

Arteen was selected for the WIFT x Ontario Creates IDM Futures Forward program on a full scholarship, supporting the development of an upcoming feature film.

Arteen regularly engages with Canadian and international film markets, including the Marché du Film at the Cannes Film Festival, and serves on the selection committee for the Forest City Film Festival. His work has screened at TIFF Lightbox and other Canadian festivals. He is currently studying at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics.
